The McMaster Sikh Students Association is a student run organization that promotes the values, beliefs, and teachings of the Sikh faith. The belief of One God, one humanity, and equality amongst all is a cherished value of the Sikh religion, which we strive to uphold at McMaster University. Our weekly meetings include a combination of simran, Rehraas Sahib, discussions, workshops, and much more. A
lso, numerous events are held throughout the year such as the End-of-Semester Kirtan Darbars, Sikh Awareness Day, and the Charity Dodgeball Tournament. Moreover, we provide a social forum for our members through dinners, movies, bowling nights, games nights, etc. We also provide assistance to fellow students dealing with their academics, as well as any other concerns that come with being a university student. Our executive team will be more than happy to give you advice, the do’s and don’ts – seeing as we’ve been through the same experiences you’re probably going through right now! So come check us out - anyone and everyone is welcome! If you wish to be a part of our mailing list and to get the 411 on upcoming events, send an email to [email protected] and we’ll keep in touch!
