Jamaica Deposit Insurance Corporation Deposit Insurance and You The JDIC's role is to establish and manage the Deposit Insurance Scheme. In fulfilling its role, the JDIC is required to:
a.

Provide insurance against loss of deposits
b. Levy premiums for the Deposit Insurance Fund and fees or other amounts payable in accordance with the Deposit Insurance Act
c. Manage the Deposit Insurance Fund
