Buckeye is proud to celebrate the very first graduating class of the Buckeye Business Builder Startup Academy!

After a 10-month deep dive into everything from marketing to public speaking, 30 local entrepreneurs hit the stage to pitch their business ideas and officially graduate.

🏆 A shoutout to the night's big business pitch winner:
Kevin Ivory (Ivory Strong Foundation) swept the floor, taking home all three pitch awards: Mayor’s Choice, Audience Choice and Best Pitch!

The next academy kicks off in January 2027, with applications opening this fall.

🙌 The Arizona Legislature has approved a bipartisan state budget that includes funding for the I-10 Widening Project from Citrus Road to SR 85!

With this funding secured, we can move forward with construction to improve safety, reduce congestion, and enhance mobility for Buckeye residents and businesses.

From Mayor Eric Orsborn and the city of Buckeye, thank you to everyone who contacted state leaders and advocated for this critical project. Your voices made a difference!

Tomorrow is National Trails Day! 🥾🌵
If you're looking for the best hikes in town to celebrate, Skyline Regional Park is the place to be but you need to be safe!

Here’s your National Trails Day checklist to stay safe:
🌅 Start at Sunrise: Aim to be off the trails before the real heat sets in.
💧 Hydrate Often: Bring more water than you think you need. When half your water is gone, turn back!
🧢 Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are advised.
📱 Keep it Charged: Make sure your phone is fully charged before you hit the trail.
