David writes from his heart while incorporating facts and amazing photos. He gathers his information from collected resources over the past fifty years, phone calls from all over the globe, research, ads in the paper and local word of mouth.

Our new book, A War Horse Comes to Nova Scotia: Stories of Veterans and Animals of WWI will be launched from the Paradise Community Hall, Saturday, June 10th from 2:00-4:00. There will be signings at Coles Bookstore, New Minas, Saturday, June 17th from 12:30-2:30; Mad Hatter Books, Annapolis Royal, Saturday, June 24th from 10:00-12:00 and on the same day at The Inside Story, Greenwood, from 2:00-4:00.
