The Burnet Economic Development Corporation is a Type B economic development corporation, established in 2008. The board meets at 3:00 pm on the third Tuesday of the month at 2402 S Water Street in Burnet.

Thank you to everyone who came out the forum organized by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce yesterday. Again Vote for me Anthony Francisco for Burnet City Council. Starting April 22-26th & May 4th. We need transparency with ease of access to information. The community & its stakeholders to be in charge of city transformation, not the city officials alone.

Example, Does anyone know how much the current city council approved for the EDC to build these public restrooms? One councilman said $450,000, then the grapevine said $750,000!!? I gave myself 10 mins to search the City of Burnet website to come up with answers: I found it was approved by current City Council June 27th, 2023. Who was the the contractor? Can’t find. How much? Wasn’t able to find.. Citizens shouldn’t have to take more than 10 mins on a website searching for information. Let me be the community representative that advocates for you!!
