📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

All participants of the Municipality of Payao Summer League 2026 for Basketball and Volleyball are hereby required to bring their National ID (PhilSys ID) or any valid government-issued ID during registration and game schedules.

This is strictly implemented for:

✅ Age Verification Purposes – to ensure that players meet the required age limit of their respective categories.

✅ Residency Verification – to determine if the participant is a bonafide resident of the Municipality of Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.

✅ Fair and Honest Competition – to maintain integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity for all participating teams and players.

Participants who fail to present valid identification may be subject to verification and possible disqualification based on tournament rules and regulations.

📌 RATIONALE

🏅 INCENTIVES AND RECOGNITIONS
Qualified graduate/s with Latin Honor distinction shall receive incentives and recognitions under the following categories:

📍For Payaonon graduates with Latin Honor distinction who may not have fully met all qualification requirements of the program, a recognition incentive shall still be granted.

📑 DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
All Payaonon graduates with Latin Honor distinction are encouraged to submit the following requirements to the Municipal Youth and Development Office (MYDO):

✅ Cedula
✅ One (1) Original Copy of Barangay Certificate of Residency
✅ One (1) Original Copy of School Certification (Elementary Level – Kinder to Grade 6)
✅ One (1) Original Copy of School Certification (Junior High School – Grades 7 to 10)
✅ Photocopy of College Diploma and Certification indicating Latin Honor distinction
✅ Recent School ID (Photocopy)

📌 If the applicant did not complete elementary or junior high school in one institution, any valid proof of completion for the corresponding grade/year level may be submitted, provided that the institution is within the Municipality of Payao during the time of completion.

STATEMENT OF STRICT COMPLIANCE
(For Mandatory Submission of PhilSys ID or Other Government-Issued Identification for Age Verification)
Under-23 Volleyball Men’s and Women’s Category
This is to formally declare and emphasize the strict compliance with the mandatory requirement for the submission of a valid Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID or any other equivalent government-issued identification card for purposes of age verification and eligibility determination for participants in the Under-23 Volleyball Men’s and Women’s Category.
All players, team officials, and concerned registrants are hereby required to present a valid and authentic government-issued identification card, such as but not limited to the PhilSys ID, Philippine Passport, Driver’s License, UMID, or any other recognized government-issued ID, clearly indicating the holder’s complete name and date of birth, to establish compliance with the age requirement of twenty-three (23) years old and below.
The presenting of such identification shall serve as the official basis for verifying eligibility to participate in the said category. Any failure to comply with this requirement, or the submission of falsified, tampered, or unverified documents, shall constitute non-compliance and shall result in automatic disqualification of the player and/or team concerned, without prejudice to any further administrative or legal action as may be deemed necessary.
This measure is strictly implemented to uphold fairness, integrity, and transparency in all competitions under the Under-23 Volleyball Men’s and Women’s Category, ensuring that all participants strictly adhere to the prescribed age limit.

📢 OFFICIAL STATEMENT

In light of the absence of official high school enrollment confirmation for School Year 2026–2027, the organizers have decided to temporarily change the Inter High School Category of the Summer League 2026 Volleyball Tournament into the Open Payao Category under 23.

This adjustment is made to ensure fairness, proper eligibility verification, and smooth participation of all teams while official school enrollment processes are still ongoing.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to promote sportsmanship, inclusivity, and a well-organized tournament for all participating athletes.
