For those asking, unfortunately we are not allowed access to the Dome in Pembrey this year for Open Doors.
This is the first time in 12yrs we have not been able to participate in Cadw’s Open Doors.

We had a fabulous Open Doors day this year, albeit every one needing to stick to safe rules to avoid the dreaded lurgy!

Just before the day we had two sets of visitors from far away.
One if the visitors was Susan, her father joined the RAF in 1940 and became an Air Gunner, his training took place at Pembrey.
She has written his biography for us.
Has anyone else have relatives who was stationed at Pembrey? If you had,please let us know and if possible send us some information about the person.
We will add it to an archive.

Thank you,everyone that came to support us yesterday at our Open Doors day, supported by Cadw.
We had the best day, thanks to the help we had from the Llanelli Air Cadets. They were invaluable in getting ready for the event and for ensuring our visitors safety.
Thanks to all our trustees who helped in organising the day.
We had to limit numbers this year for obvious reasons.
We hope you had an informative visit, enjoyed the refreshments.
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all.

As long as we are in a good place, we will be participating in
OPEN DOORS
this year, complying to the current rules at the time in September for one day only,it will be a Sunday afternoon.

Places will need to be booked, more details to follow.
18 months ago Weather Man Walking passed by us.
He did eat cake, there will be cake in September too!
