As part of our Pride series, The Future They Dreamed Of, we're honoring the trans leaders whose vision, courage, and commitment helped shape our movement.

Monica Roberts knew that our stories matter.

As the founder of TransGriot, she dedicated her life to documenting the lives, accomplishments, and experiences of trans people, especially Black trans women, ensuring that our communities would not be forgotten or erased from history.

She envisioned a future where trans people would be recognized in our full humanity, where our stories would be told with dignity, and where our lives would be valued and respected.

Today, we continue building the future Monica dreamed of every time we tell our stories, preserve our histories, and affirm that trans people belong.

This Pride, we honor Monica Roberts and the lasting impact she made on our movement.

We are part of the diverse mosaic of human life and we will not be dehumanized or disrespected." his Immigrant Heritage Month, we honor the mosaic of stories that shape our nation. From the historic arrival point of Ellis Island—where millions of immigrants first stepped onto American soil—to today’s vibrant communities, immigrants are the heartbeat of America. 🗽💓

Join us in celebrating and advocating for the rich diversity that makes us stronger. 🌍✨

Hoy no solo recordamos a Lorena.

❤️ La celebramos.
❤️ La llevamos con nosotrxs.
❤️ Continuamos su lucha.

Feliz cumpleaños celestial, Lorena Borjas. ❤️🏳️‍⚧️

Tu amor, tu fuerza y tu visión continúan guiando a nuestra comunidad cada día.

Under her leadership, LGBTQ+ students are seen, supported, and shown up for. That's what care looks like in action.
