Slowly, the drums of 2019 Elections is getting louder, various interest groups have pledged their support to some candidates, political parties are taking the gospel to the electorates mixed up with lies of what has been done or about to be done.
We, the electorates haven't sat down to marry their claims with realities of the day.
You are supporting someone you last saw during the 2015 campaigns to run for office in 2019. Have you asked them the promises the made? Have you compared the percentage of fulfilment of those promises?
Someone would want to ask, what is his point?
My point is, I believe Nigeria has grown yo a point where from party nomination, we should look beyond mere popularity and financial muscle of an aspirate to checking his antecedent of past responsibilities, how he or she touched lives, the impact the created on the economy, policies the helped drive, how the carried the masses at heart. If we don't get it right from nomination, we mat never get it right during elections. I believe the system can be system can be corrected and never again should the looters pretend to us when seeking political offices later they turn their back on us. This is the believe of New Vision Campaign Organization.

Nigerian leaders are funny.
You will complain of something not going right at the moment, party fanatics will refer you to an incident of the same kind that happened in the previous administration.

Me:
Did we bring you in to govern on referencing?
We brought you because we believed you could do better, else we would have simply allowed those that handled it to remain.

Own up to your failures and stop referring us to failures of the past.
After all you claim the state of the economy is better than you met it, so let administrative evidence be better than the past.

By now it has become obvious that good things don't just happen but are made to happen. We desire a good future, a good job, good leadership and all of that, but are we ready to make it happen? That's the area I will allow you to ponder all. We can achieve what we want to achieve if there is a platform for that and now in the land of ONNA arises the NEW FACE that will create that platform. Won't you rather join the vision? Its the time for a new beginning in the land of ONNA, it's time for a FRESH START. Youth arise and let's take our place and mould our future the way we want.

I refuse to join the band wagon clamouring for youths to arise and take center stage, yet never showing the way or creating an enabling environment to arise. They set example of countries having break through in science and technology. I want to ask, can we compare the infrastructures aiding these breakthroughs to what we have in Nigeria? Please, tell those closer to power that what the youth needs is enabling environment, from our tertiary institutions to the government, because no amount of motivate will change a thing if the platform is not available. We will continue to have the NDA's as a result of various motivational write-ups with no resources backing the inspiration.

They say we (the youths) are incapacitated to lead, we don't have the necessary experience to come into leadership. I then ask, how do you judge the inability of a man you haven't given a responsibility before and how do you gather experience when you haven't been involved? Youths, it's time to arise to occupy, we have been patient for so long and it has always been the same old story (use the youth to get to the top then remember you are not their class). We need a man that had identified with us when he never had any ambition, a man we can freely work up to and discuss ideas without the hurdle of the so called elite political class. We are not against the elders, all we are saying is, let them remain in their advisory role. This is the time, time for a new face for Onna, a competent face, a face that has a listening ear, a man with empowerment driven ideas. This is the sustainable grace we need in this season. ONNA, WE NEED A FRESH FACE FOR A FRESH START. .
