Mahadevpur is a mandal (sub-taluk) in Karimnagar District, of Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh, India.[1]

It is located in the north-east of the district near the border with Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. The mandal has borders with Maharashtra in the north, Chhatttishgarh in the east, a small bit of border with Khammam and Warangal districts in the south-east, Maha-mutharam and Kataram mandals in the south and Adilabad district in the west. This is the only mandal in the entire district which has borders with states. The mandal has a view like rectangle shape and surrounded by Godavari river in three sides i.e. east, north and west. Every village of this mandal is on the banks of River Godavari. The population is around 39000. The land is partially forested and part devoted to agriculture. There are 22 Gram Panchyats which consists of 49 revenue villages but 11 of them are uninhabited and the unemployment rate is high.
Tourist Spots

Kaleshwaram a village of this mandal is Pilgrim Centre where the river Pranahita from Maharastra and river Godarvari meets here. A masjid built by Aurangazeb (RA) is at the back of temple
