📚 Help Us Bridge the Gap in Education! 📚

The statistics show a concerning trend: many children are not achieving grade-level reading and math skills.


For example, in Grade 3, 52.29% of students have limited understanding in English Language Arts, and in Grade 4, that number jumps to 58.58%. In math, 70.37% of Grade 3 students have limited understanding, which increases to 74.60% by Grade 4.

These numbers highlight the urgent need for effective tutoring.

Mildrie's Road House of Literacy is stepping up to address this issue. We are expanding our literacy program to provide essential tutoring to children in the Antelope Valley who are struggling year after year.

We need passionate volunteers from the community who can dedicate 2-4 hours a week to tutor these young minds. Whether you are a professional, a college student, or a retiree, your contribution can make a significant impact.

Don't worry if you don't have prior experience—we provide comprehensive training to ensure you can offer the best support possible.
