The International Coastal Clean-Up is a global movement that brings people together with one mission—to protect and preserve our oceans. This year, the coastal stretch of Brgy. 🌱 Growing Together for a Greener Tomorrow 🌱

In a united effort to care for our environment, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), and the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro came together for a tree planting activity at Malasag, Cagayan de Oro City.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to environmental protection, climate resilience, and sustainable community development. By planting trees, we are not only helping restore our ecosystem but also leaving behind a living legacy that future generations can benefit from.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for facilitating this meaningful event and ensuring its success.

Here's a glimpse of the recent outreach activity held at Barangay Mauswagon today by the Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao, in collaboration with various agencies, NGOs, Philippine coastguard Auxiliary and the Team CDO 4x4 Club. The initiative aimed at providing assistance such as medical aid, anti-rabies vaccines, medicines, consultations, free haircuts, feeding programs, legal consultations, and more. We extend our gratitude to the Philippine Coast Guard for spearheading such impactful initiatives.

23rd Inter-Agency Maritime Drill 2022

During the 23rd maritime drill, participating units may engage in a variety of activities, including simulated search and rescue operations, maritime interdiction exercises, anti-piracy maneuvers, navigation and seamanship training, as well as disaster response scenarios.

These drills serve multiple purposes, including improving interoperability among participating units, testing equipment and procedures, evaluating response times, and fostering cooperation among maritime forces and Inter agencies.
