TRAFFIC ALERT: Amelia Island Parkway Roundabout

*Information and photo provided by Nassau County, FL

Starting Monday, June 15, drivers will see a temporary single-lane traffic pattern at the Amelia Island Parkway roundabout as crews continue construction and install brick pavers.

Northbound traffic will be shifted into the southbound lane beginning June 15.

On June 20, traffic will shift back to the northbound lane so crews can complete the remaining work. The intersection will be fully closed on June 20, from approximately 7:00am to 2:00pm for concrete work and ADA improvements.

The lane closure is expected to last less than two weeks, weather permitting. Additional signs and message boards will be in place to help guide motorists.

Fernandina Beach Main Street and Katie Newton from the City of Fernandina Beach invite you to join us for Talk Trash Tuesday as we work together to keep our downtown clean, welcoming, and beautiful.

Bring your heavy-duty gardening gloves and a water bottle (or your favorite drink for hydration), and we'll provide the rest! While we pick up litter and spruce up our streets, you'll also have the opportunity to share your questions, ideas, and concerns about downtown Fernandina Beach.

This is a great way to connect with fellow community members, stay informed about what's happening in our downtown district, and make a positive impact on the place we all love.

Space is limited, so be sure to register today!
