3日目に平和公園オンラインツアーが開催されました。当日はPCVの皆様にご案内いただき、参加者は田中稔子様の貴重な体験談をお聞きすることができました。

The live-streamed tour of Hiroshima Peace Park was conducted in Day 3 of the forum. PCV guided us to this tour and the participants had a good experience to hear the story of Tanaka Toshiko-san.

第６回ひろしまジュニアフォーラム（オンライン）がスタートしました。１日目（8/17）はチームビルディング、核廃絶についての講義とディスカッション、発表を行いました。

The 6th Hiroshima Junior International Forum has just started online! Day 1 on August 17th, we had the activity of "Team Building" followed by the Lecture & Group Discussion on nuclear abolition.

第6回ひろしまジュニア国際フォーラムは8/17〜20の4日間開催します。コロナの影響により、２年連続でオンラインによる開催です。今回は１4カ国から約60名近くの国内外高校生が参加します。参加者の皆さんとお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。（写真：原爆ドーム　提供：広島県）

The 6th Hiroshima Junior International Forum will be held online for 4 days, from August 17 through 20. Due to COVID 19, the forum will be conducted online for 2 years in a row. About 60 high school students from 14 countries will participate in the forum this year. We look forward to seeing you all at the forum.

Tokyo Olympic Games are only 3 weeks away!
As one of the Olympics’ purposes is a celebration of peace, to increase engagement in the peace movement by Olympic and Paralympic athletes, the Hiroshima Prefectural Government is recruiting for videos of children all over the world (including the athletes’ home countries) wishing for peace in their native languages.

We will choose videos from the submissions,
combine clips from people all over the world into one video,
and plan to play the video where athletes will see it during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The child in the video must be 18 years or younger.
We would be glad if you consider to apply videos referring the detail from URL below. The deadline is July 4th, so we appreciate your immediate action!

(1) Name of the applicant (Nickname OK too)(2) Name of home country (Ex: Japan)(3) Language used in the video (Ex: Japanese)(4) Email address(5) Make sure to read all the cautions, then write the sentence “I agree to all of the cautions” in the email.

We have uploaded the "Action Plans" on our website. You can see what and how the participants take concrete actions for abolition of nuclear weapons or world peace.

I will make some posters about things that I learned from the forum and the importance of the peace building, and I will post them on my school notice boards that every student can look for. By doing so, I will be able to spread my thoughts to many people.
