Please find attached the safety instructions, Safety Guidance & hire agreement/Terms & Conditions document. You are also provided with and advised to follow the manufacturers guidance on receipt of sling. If you are happy with these Safety Documents and Agree to the Hiring Terms & Conditions then please contact the sling library team and proceed to payment by following the link they will provide you.

HIRE PAYMENTS

**Payments made by secure online card payments via a secure link sent directly by the sling librarians.**
As of April 1st 2026, our fees will be -
⭐️ All carriers will be £15 per 4 weeks
☛ Refundable Deposit of £20 - to be returned on successful return of undamaged sling
❗️ £1 per day overdue sling charge (if unarranged)

SLING HIRE INFORMATION|

**Wokingham NCT Branch Sling Rental**
The hire of one sling/carrier for a period of 4 weeks as specified in the hire agreement & Terms and Conditions. (See Documents online and/or copied blurb at bottom of page)
Costs:
- 4 week hire £15 respectively (Inclusive of VAT) plus a refundable deposit of £20 re-paid electronically on return of undamaged sling/carrier to sling librarian.
- Hire & deposit paid via secure card payment online.

PLEASE NOTE:
You will receive a secure payment link by e-mail - Please ensure you type your e-mail address accurately and check
your JUNK e-mail for the payment link. You will then pay the hire & deposit cost via card payment and receive a
confirmation e-mail. Your sling librarian will then inform you as to the next steps in the sling hire process. If you have any queries please e-mail [email protected]

NCT Terms & Conditions of Sling Hire
=====================================
When using a hired baby sling, your child’s safety is your responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are using the sling correctly and that your baby or child is safe at all
times when using the sling. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and check for signs of wear and tear so as not to put your child
at risk. Check;
- buckles are secure with no cracks, breaks or missing pieces.
- webbing and safety elastic is attached with no rips or frays.
- carrier stitching is secure, no rips, tears, holes or obvious wear and tear.
- MAKING THIS PAYMENT means you agree to check and confirmed that the sling is in working order before every
use. If any damage is discovered, stop using the sling immediately and contact us. We suggest that, after familiarising yourself with the instructions given, you then practice using the sling with a
doll/teddy or cushion/pillow so that you get used to the tying/fastening/adjusting methods. It is sensible to have
another adult present on the first few occasions you put your child in the sling. The hire rate is £15 per four calendar weeks. A deposit is required, in the form of £20 by secure online card payment. (If cheque is used, your cheque will not be banked and will be returned to you on the safe return of the hired sling. Should the sling be lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the deposit cheque, card payment or cash will be
banked to pay for a replacement.) Slings must be returned on time unless by prior agreement. We may be unable to extend a loan if we have a waiting
list. Please note that it is your responsibility to return the sling to the library. A late fee of £1 per day will apply to unarranged late returns. Please take good care of the sling and any instruction material or accessory that comes with your sling so that they
can be used to help more parents in the future. We ask that all slings are returned in a clean and usable condition but please do not wash the sling. If the sling
becomes dirty please carefully spot clean using water and a soft cloth. Where spot cleaning is not possible please
contact the sling library for further guidance.
