I will never be able to thank everyone that has prayed, supported and helped me during this journey. This election was never going to define me, my family, my friends, or my walk with Jesus Christ. I am blessed to have experienced this with my family but especially my son Landon Adams. Yes, I am very proud of the person he is becoming and I am aware that it is experiences like these that have helped develop the integrity and character that he will carry with him throughout his life. Once again, thank you for all the calls, messages and kind comments dating all the way back to when I was the first candidate to announce, to today, when the show of support seemed never ending. Please, DO NOT feel sorry for the Adams family, we have no regrets. As a wise friend told me tonight, this is not defeat, consider this a blessing. Also, congratulations to Daniel Coleman, the new council representative for district 7. Now, happy homecoming and Go Panthers!!

Today is the day. I have been training for this moment for 20 years. This is a critical election as we have several newly elected city council seats and my experience is needed to set the pace for our community. We desperately need a mayor that has experience with hiring, firing, city budgets, grant writing, city council experience, scheduling, ordinances, code enforcement, community policing, emergency management, crisis management, negotiations, business administration degree/experience, and someone that is approachable and present at most city events. Without question, I am the most qualified candidate to handle ALL the areas listed above and this has NOT BEEN DISPUTED throughout this runoff campaign. As you go to the poles today, I ask you to VOTE FOR THE UNDISPUTED EXPERIENCE that this position deserves! Thank you to all the citizens for your kindness and support during the past 6 months of this campaign. May God bless you all and may GOD bless our city, state, and country!

Geneva High School FBLA, Sirena Messer, Gran Jans, Landon Adams, Shane Owens Country, Bryson Storey, Sherry McCormick, Gayle Courtney, all those who brought the delicious desserts, all those that helped served, and most of all, the great citizens of this community who took time to come fellowship tonight.

Thank you for all your calls and messages, and as most of you already knew, there is NO TRUTH to the rumors that we have been disqualified from the election. As bad as some would like for it to be true, it is NOT! Sadly, this is one of many lies that have been told about me or what I have supposedly said. To be clear, I've chosen not to address negative campaigning but this is a blatant effort to mislead the citizens of Geneva. You deserve better than an concerted effort to win at all cost. It will be an honor to serve as your mayor.

Now, to move on to more exciting news. Senate candidate Tommy Tuberville will be attending our event this Saturday at the Vintage Room from 5pm-8pm. Come visit with us and eat some fish or hotdogs, watch the Alabama game on projector, listen to performances by Shane Owens, Bryson Story, and Sherry McCormick. We will have mask available if you do not have one.

Congratulations to all the GHS students inducted into the BETA club on Sunday. These keys signify important traits of success, (Leadership, Character, Achievement, and Service). When interviewing candidates for a job, you rarely go wrong by hiring the person with the most overall experience for the job to be filled. Over 700 citizens (61%) of Geneva voters felt the same way in the first mayor election on August 25th. With the next election looming on October 6th, I ask the citizens of Geneva to first please get out and vote, and secondly, once again, vote for and elect the experience that Geneva deserves for the position of mayor. I will be available FULL TIME and FULL TERM as mayor for Geneva. On October 6th, vote Greg Adams for the FULL TERM mayor of Geneva!

For the first 15 years of my law enforcement career, I booked many criminals into the current jail. A long time coming for the opening of the new state of the art Geneva County Jail. I was on the Geneva City Council as the district 5 representative four years ago when the county jail plans were finalized. This facility is located within Geneva city district 5. This will be the new home for those that engage in criminal activity in our city! Thank you to Sheriff Helms for the personal tour.

Greg Adams will be in attendance to answer any questions. More guests to be announced throughout the week! Join us for Fish, Cold drinks, Live Music, and Fun! You will not want to miss it! I am so very honored to have been invited to 3 very special events this past week. First, the Senior Citizens birthday celebration on Thursday. The joy that was brought by our Senior Citizen Center staff was amazing. Next, the 9/11 ceremony at Robert Fowler Park in honor of Mr. Carl Max Hammond Jr. It was such a heart-warming tribute to not only Dr. Hammond and his family, but to the many people whose lives were changed on this dreadful day 19 years ago. Last, the Grandparents Day parade at Westbrook Assisted Living facility. The love witnessed at this event was impressive. Events like these are proof that Geneva has a special way of caring for those that need it most. I am blessed to have witnessed these great acts of kindness! These events made much more of an impression on me than I ever could have on them. What shouldn’t get lost here is that these events are about the people and nobody else! I am looking forward to the many future positive blessings that Geneva has in store for each other.
