Tollcross Housing Association opened their new 42 home development at Altyre Street, Glasgow, on Friday and our CEO Eveline was delighted to be invited along.
Despite the rain, it was a double celebration as one of their long serving members of staff, Sheron Tuffnell, was also retiring. Sheron cut the ribbon marking the opening of the new development and the end of her time at Tollcross HA.

Clive Douglas, Chief Executive and Chris Elliot, Chair of Tollcross Housing Association praised the work carried out by McTaggart Construction, and were pleased the £12.5 million development project was complete, offering new beginnings to so many families in the area.

Our next webinar on Monday 27th April at 11am will be delivered by the exceptional charity and will focus on the lived experiences of single parent families facing child poverty and housing insecurity.

The session will highlight what can be done to prevent crisis, reduce inequality and give families the stability and dignity every child deserves. It also explores co-designing housing policies with parents, particularly around issues such as domestic abuse.
