💕 A Little Goes A Long Way

🎓 Behind every young person who made the team, graduated, and even stood up for themselves, there was someone who showed up for them consistently.

Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs youth with mentors who provide the kind of consistent caring support that helps a person feel seen and Makes Life Bigger. Showing empathy. Listening. Guiding a young person to address their challenges. September is Big Brothers Big Sisters Month and we're celebrating that human connection.

Building life Skills Through Leadership Programs 🌱🚀✨

We had a blast and learned a lot at our Summer Leadership Camp 2026! The week-long session focused on:
🌱 Leadership, team building, problem solving
🖌️ Mental wellness and self care practices
🛒 Budgeting, food awareness, food prep
❤️ First Aid and CPR training

Part of our Transition to Independence initiative, the program is one of the ways we’re helping young people succeed in school, work and life. 🏆

We’d like to pause for a moment and say thank you to our Big Brothers Big Sisters community.

September marks Big Brothers Big Sisters Month across Canada. From coast to coast, we recognize the power of mentorship, and its transformative impact on young lives.

To our volunteer mentors who give their time, our supporters and partners who invest in our impact, our families who trust us to be an extension of yours, we are grateful. You are a part of our story, we thank you for the impact we create together.

This month, we celebrate what's possible when one person shows up for another. Together, we’re making a bigger difference than we’ll ever know.
