📢 2026 CFMCF Honor Courage Commitment Scholarships Applications Are Now Open 🎓

The Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Honor Courage Commitment Scholarships. These scholarships support Marines and Marine families as they pursue their educational goals.

Important Dates:
Application Period: December 15, 2025 to January 31, 2026
Scholarship Recipients Announced: May 2026

Scholarship Categories

Marine Scholarship
For active duty or reserve US Marines or Fleet Marine Force Corpsmen who have served at least six months and received an Honorable or Medical Discharge.

Family Member Scholarship
For the son, daughter, grandchild, or spouse of an active duty or reserve US Marine, a US Marine who received an Honorable or Medical Discharge, or a US Marine who died while serving in the US Marine Corps.

Scholarships Available
Five scholarships will be awarded.
Previous CFMCF scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply again.

Golfers
**Timeline:**
7 am set up, Range will be open
7:15 registration, there will be a table set up in front of the clubhouse
7:30 Color Guard and National Anthem
7:40 Call to Carts
7:55 Leadouts from staging
8 Balls in the air
12 pm start of lunch and trophies/prizes
**(A shuttle will be provided because the lunch is in the hotel area)

Location:
8575 White Shark Blvd, Davenport, FL 33896

Volunteers:
Time: Please meet between 6:45 am and 7:00 a.m. in front of the left side of the clubhouse.

Many things will happen the morning of, including.
1. Putting up the banner and American Flags.
2. Setting up sound.
3. Goodie bag and registration table.
4. Coffee table, and Super ticket table $100. (Michael will have a QR code and be set up for that payment)
5. Coordinate tents going to the holes.
6. Ensure Color Guard and Suzy singing the National Anthem are good to go, along with the flag on the balcony.
7. Be ready for the ceremony at 7:30 am

For Sponsors with Tents:

If you are putting up a tent on the golf course, ask that you be there NLT 6:45.
You will be able to take your vehicle to the hole location. Please have everything you need with you.
Intermix Real Estate will be at hole 5.
Saab at hole 10.
Any other tents will be 12 and 15.

SuperTicket & Raffle
We’ll have a great raffle lineup and the always-popular SuperTicket, available for $100 per team.
Each SuperTicket includes:
Two (2) mulligans per team
One (1) “yard of string” that can be used at the team’s discretion (for example, to move a ball closer for a putt)

Once the yard is used, it’s gone — and please note, it cannot be used for the Hole-in-One or Putting Contest.
Featured Raffle Prize: A custom Iwo Jima Whiskey/Bourbon Decanter, among other great prizes!

Contests & Prizes
Hole-in-One Contest: Grand prize of $8,000
Putting Contest: Grand prize of $5,000

Scoring
Teams will use the Golf Genius app to record scores. Only one player per team needs to download and use the app.

Sponsors & Partners
All GPS-enabled golf carts will display sponsor and partner logos throughout the course.

All confirmed sponsors will also appear in the printed golf program.

Any last-minute sponsors or partners will still receive recognition during the event, though they may not appear on the banner or in the printed materials.

On May 5, 2011, the Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation dedicated the only Marine memorial in the City of Orlando at Lake Baldwin Veterans Memorial Park. Built with no public funds, this granite obelisk was made possible through the vision and support of Marine veterans and the Central Florida community.

The monument stands in honor of Marines of the past, present, and future. Engraved are the names and dates of every principal Marine Corps engagement since 1775, along with President Ronald Reagan’s words:

“Some people work an entire lifetime and wonder if they ever made a difference to the world. But the Marines don’t have that problem.” — President Ronald Reagan, September 23, 1983

Today, we thank the Orlando Devil Dogs - Young Marines Unit, Orlando, FL for stepping up to clean and care for Lake Baldwin Veterans Memorial Park, ensuring this place of honor and reflection continues to inspire all who visit.
