• Mapping livelihood dependencies and land-use patterns
• Identifying vulnerable groups requiring targeted safeguards
• Understanding irrigation water use and biodiversity sensitivities

Project; Sierra Leone Regional Agro-Industrial Growth & Irrigation Corridor Project || Irrigation infrastructure can transform agricultural productivity — but only if ecological systems are protected.

As part of the ongoing ESIA, Richflood Ltd is conducting:
• Surface and groundwater assessments
• Biodiversity baseline studies
• Downstream water-use impact analysis
• Climate resilience risk screening

Water corridors alter landscapes. Responsible design requires science-driven mitigation and adaptive management. Agricultural expansion must coexist with ecosystem stability — not undermine it.
