Sevenj suffers paralysis down one side of her body as a complication of Polio, resulting in very poor mobility without aid. Her wellbeing is suffering greatly as a result of not qualifying for a mobility scooter as Sevenj is in the asylum system. This is due to the discriminatory legislation of the UK government classing her as 'No Recourse to Public Funds'. Please help Sevenj get out of the house and some of her independence back.

DNC Glasgow are looking to organise a training day on white privilege, guilt, and saviourism in collaboration with Ubuntu shelter! This workshop is targeted at white members of DNC and other organizations dealing with refugee/ asylum seeker rights, but we need feedback from you first!

We stand in solidarity with the Campaign.

Simba Majakachi faced a £93,000 bill after a stay in intensive care having suffered a life threatening stroke. It is likely that his stroke was precipitated by poor access to healthcare for his blood clotting disorder due to his immigration status.

Simba is not alone - the government's Hostile Environment policies have led to the deaths of many and destroyed the lives of thousands of migrants in Britain. He is one of many being targeted by the Hostile Environment policies in our NHS which deny and deter people from accessing care, and charges huge amounts for care and then chases for outstanding debt.

We join Simba, his family, and many others to call for:
