MICHAEL BEARYMORE ARRESTED.

It seems our council mascot Michael Bearymore enjoyed himself a little bit TOO much at yesterday's Bearwood Shuffle as it seems he got arrested for being "drunk and disorderly" and for "running illegal betting activities".

He has now been released after having spent a night in a police cell "sobering up".

Anyone who placed bets with him on wagers such as "will the bandstand fall down" or "what time will the rain stop" will have their money returned.

This is not a drill! The Ceilidh Band will be performing at the Bearwood Shuffle festival today!

They will be bringing their jiggable traditional English folk dance tunes, to close this year's festival.

A famous quote says "interviewing the ceilidh band is the nearest experience you can get to psychedelic drugs".

Here is an interview we did with them. We even managed to spell Cielidhh correctly.
