Very pleased to launch the Highways Ranger scheme as part of the Alliance for West Sussex. Worthing was selected as the first area for the pilot, thanks to the great work of local residents demanding more for our town.

The team will be working across 70+ locations in Worthing conducting minor works, from treating weeds, to cleaning road signs, to trimming overgrown bushes.

A huge thank you to all residents who report these issues, it makes a huge difference to our town.

Thank you Worthing Green Party for laying out the process so clearly!

Take 15 mins and have your say on the future of West Sussex.

👏 Fantastic work being done by Green Cllr Natasha Davie in her role as WSCC Cabinet Lead for Environment and Climate Change.

🪜There’s a simple two step process for everyone to get involved and build a robust Climate strategy for West Sussex:

1. Read the summary document which explains why we need both a climate mitigation and climate adaptation plan. (Takes 5-10 mins). https://yourvoice.westsussex.gov.uk/climatesurvey

2. Have your say - what’s important to you, can you support these plans or detail anything missing, are you satisfied with what our experts are suggesting? (8-12 mins) https://yourvoice.westsussex.gov.uk/embeds/projects/50012/survey-tools/59660

⏰ Please invest your time and have your say - the outcome must be a plan that everyone contributes to, that serves the 99% of us …

🔄 … and help us spread the word by sharing this post. Particularly our colleagues across the county - Adur Green Party , Chichester and Arun Green Party , Horsham Greens.

🙏🏼 Thank you.

✅ Additional thanks to our friends in Green Party of England and Wales , Worthing Green Party and Climate Resilience Centre Worthing - CREW for working hard to ensure the future of our planet is front and centre at all times.

💚 💪 It’s great to have sound strategic thinking and public involvement at the heart of public policy making on the most important and pressing issue facing us.
