Big congrats to Henry, Sharon, and Elizabeth on their election wins!

These three Village Councilmembers are certain to make a meaningful difference for all of us in Islamorada – with clear and sensible eyes for the future of our Village.

To say we’re enthusiastic is an understatement.

You Are All Democrats Stop disrespecting Governor DeSantis, Mark! Buddy, Mark & Deb had their chance. Mark Gregg: Raising our taxes and regulating our potato chips? Hey, Deb, we have term limits for a reason! Why we are.The mission of Reasonable People Can Agree is to educate, enhance, and support l...

When Big Sugar dropped a legislative bomb on Florida Bay earlier this year, our politicians were M.I.A. So was the lobbying firm getting $125k a year from Islamorada.

Sickening, but not surprising since the firm is also on Big Sugar's payroll.

The surprise? Only Henry Rosenthal had the guts to call it out, insisting on new lobbyists. He lost that fight 4-1. The worst offenders were Buddy and Mark (grrr).

Let's elect men and women with talent, ethics, and guts. Look no further than Henry, Mary Barley, Sue Miller, Tom Raffanello, and Elizabeth Jolin. Now, that's a lineup!

Henry Rosenthal stood his ground as David pushed to increase garbage collection rates. David got Mark and Pete to go along with it that night (grrr) but David Webb's behavior drew a swift rebuke from the State Attorney and a date in front of a judge.

Another reason we urge your vote for TOM RAFFANELLO!

Buddy, Mark, and Deb. You promised to get traffic under control, protect our environment and Florida Bay, and make housing more affordable. You haven't done it, not even close. Time for proven problem solvers - Henry, Mary, and Sue! Let's do this, Islamorada.

Please remind Deb Gillis the voters instituted term limits for a reason! We wanted to ensure our community leaders serve the people and don't turn into career politicians. And we meant it.

Bad governance and a bizarre analogy from Mark Gregg. Nevermind the odd potato chips reference, does raising property taxes by 17% in Islamorada seem reasonable to you?
