🇰🇷 The DuScian Alliance to Empower and Behold the Anima of Korea (DAEBAK | 대박) is an organization that is committed to promoting an inclusive society for students who are enthusiastic to learn about the Korean culture and language.

DAEBAK is open to all DuScians, especially the students under the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) 💌 Together with fellow club members, camaraderie and social skills shall be developed through the exciting activities that are coming your way 💫

📌 But FYI, each element of the organization's logo symbolizes various objectives and values.

South Korea's national animal is the Siberian tiger 🐯 🐾 This animal represents courage, confidence, strength, and bravery.

The lotus flower 🌷 symbolizes enlightenment and wisdom in Buddhism.

🔑 Enclosing the aforementioned elements is a nonagon, which represents the club's core values (SARANGHAE: Support, Accountability, Respect, Awareness, Nurture, Generosity, Honesty, Acceptance, and Enjoyment).

Within the nonagon is a Kalinga tattoo pattern of a ladder 🇵🇭 It symbolizes the connection of two points—the Philippine and South Korean cultures, as well as growth, opportunity, ambition, and achievement.

RTPM-DSHS SPFL-K Batch 1 Conquers Intensive Korean Language Program

Twenty-nine Duscians celebrated the completion of their first level of training in Special Program in Foreign Language- Korean (SPFL-K) with an impressive talent show.

The student-organized event did not only showcase the learners' linguistic achievements in Korean but also showcased their creativity and talent through K-pop performances and Korean singing renditions.

The talent show served as a memorable culmination of their linguistic journey, highlighting their dedication and talent in mastering the Korean language.

Congratulations, Grade 7 Titanium!

As we celebrate the success of these students, we eagerly anticipate more learning opportunities for them and the next batch of SPFL Korean learners.
