Rawis National High School Kicks Off the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration

Rawis National High School proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month 2026, a time to recognize the strength, resilience, leadership, and invaluable contributions of women in our society.

The celebration officially kicked off with the active participation of students, teachers, and school personnel who came together to honor the achievements of women and promote gender equality within the school community. Through meaningful activities and discussions, the school aims to raise awareness about women’s rights, empowerment, and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

In commemoration of the 46th death anniversary of National Artist Antonio Molina.

Antonio J. Molina emerged as the last pillar of the musical triumvirate, standing proudly with Nicanor Abelardo and Francisco Santiago, both of whom elevated music beyond its traditional folk roots. From a young age, he displayed extraordinary talent on the violoncello, quickly earning a position as a soloist with the Manila Grand Opera House orchestra.

Molina is renowned for his profound contributions to music theory, which encompass the groundbreaking development of the whole tone scale, the pentatonic scale, and the innovative use of dominant ninths and eleventh chords, along with intricate linear counterpoints. As a faculty member at the UP Conservatory, he was instrumental in molding the education of many of the Philippines' foremost musical talents and educators, including Lucresia Kasilag and Felipe de Leon.
