The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) invites qualified bidders to participate in the Public Auction of Seized Vehicles on ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ต, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐ต:๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ญ๐ฎ:๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐ at the National Training Center Building, BIR National Office, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. The auction will cover four high-end vehicles registered under St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor & Development Corporation. The vehicles were seized by the BIR in connection with its tax assessment and collection proceedings against St. Gerrard.
The four luxury vehicles are:
โข 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316 CD, with minimum bid price P3,470,000.00
โข 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 350D AMG L, with minimum bid price P7,100,000.00
โข 2019 Land Rover Range Rover LWB, with minimum bid price P7,170,000.00, and
โข 2023 Land Rover Defender 130 S, with minimum bid price 8,400,000.00
The four vehicles have a combined market value of approximately P26.14 million and will be sold through public auction on an โAS IS, WHERE ISโ basis, subject to the prescribed auction procedures and requirements.
Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza said the auction reflects the Bureauโs determination to convert seized properties into cash collections at the earliest opportunity allowed by law, in order to maximize recovery of the assessed tax liabilities and avoid unnecessary depreciation in value.
