Samuel has returned home.

🚨Missing Person🚨

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Samuel Dawson was last seen leaving his home at The Villages in Park West around 9 a.m. on February 23, 2026.

He is a white male in his mid-20s with autism. At the time he was last seen, he was riding a blue bicycle and wearing a black or brown striped hooded jacket, reddish-brown pants, and black Adidas shoes with white stripes. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs around 160 pounds.

If anyone sees Samuel or has information regarding his whereabouts, please call the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 843-884-4176 or the consolidated dispatch center at 843-743-7200.

Yesterday team members met with State officials in Columbia for another delivery of several hundred blankets along with several hundred hygiene packs.

Team members will be passing these items out to the local homeless population in the coming weeks.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office searched throughout the night in the Hollywood area for David Graham, 82, and continues efforts today. We are asking the public in this area to check any sheds, outbuildings, yards on your property, and to also review any doorbell camera footage for this individual.

Graham walked away from his home on Dixie Plantation Road around noon on Feb. 16. He suffers from severe dementia.

Earlier today, members of our team were out in the community locating several homeless encampments.
Team members distributed more than 50 blankets, along with hand warmers and cold medicine. This brings our total over the past 48 hours to nearly 100 blankets handed out to those in need.
