The Lopez Jaena Search and Rescue Team, headed by Engr. Gharlie M. Paredes, together with the very active Municipal Mayor of Lopez Jaena, Hon. Andrea Cherry Pink L. Gutierrez-Cagas, and the active organizations Kaakibat KCIM 256, LOTODA, Lopez Jaena Municipal Fire Station, CDW, Women's Organization, Molatuhan Bajo Water System, and the Single Parents Association, in partnership with the MSWD, successfully conducted a Tree Planting Activity at Purok 5, Sibugon, Lopez Jaena.

This activity reflects the strong commitment of the local government, partner agencies, and community organizations to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

Together, we plant trees today for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable tomorrow. 🌳🍃

The Lopez Jaena Search and Rescue Team conducted a clearing operation on a fallen tree that damaged the house owned by Ms. Elsa Paculba, 61 years old, a resident of Purok 2, Eastern Poblacion, Lopez Jaena.

The team promptly responded to clear the area and remove the fallen tree to ensure the safety of the homeowner and nearby residents. We remain committed to providing immediate assistance and emergency response services to the community.

Type of Incident: Self- Inflicted Incident

Description of the Incident:
The victim, Procorpio Suminguit a 65-year-old male a resident in Purok-1 Puntod Lopez Jaena was involved in a self-inflicted incident based on the report, the victim got an accident due to alcohol intoxication, and it was caused by his own actions.
The victim’s foot was caught in the motorcycle chain, resulting in an open wound on the left foot and a bump on the head.

Action Taken:
The victim was provided with immediate first aid assistance and transported to MOPH for further medical evaluation and treatment. The patient’s condition was continuously monitored to ensure safety and prevent further complications.

The incident was properly documented for reporting and record purposes.

Description of the Incident:
The victim, Jerry Tizon a 40-year-old male a resident in, Purok-1 Mobod Oroquieta City was involved in Hit and Run incident.
The victim suffered an open wound on left feet.

Action Taken:
The victim was provided with immediate first aid assistance and transported to MOPH for further medical evaluation and treatment. The patient’s condition was continuously monitored to ensure safety and prevent further complications.

The Lopez Jaena Municipal Fire Station requested assistance from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office personnel during a fire incident at Purok 4, Sibula, Lopez Jaena.

The affected properties were owned by Mr. Camilo Estabas and Mrs. Nelsie Estabas. Immediate response and coordination were conducted to help ensure the safety of the residents and the surrounding community.
