B*****y strimners!!! Evil, awful things; wish they had never been invented💀😭☠😭💀😭

This a sad read 😥 but it is happening far too much to our hedgehogs.
In the eyes of a Hedgehog 🦔🥺

As l laid sleeping in the grass
A place i built my nest
All curled up tight and sound asleep
A place i thought was best.

I laid here safe and covered
I am hidden and feeling calm
Waiting for my unborn babies
And to keep them safe from harm.

I jump as i am awakened
By a very distressing sound
I start to feel unsettled
As i slowly wake to look around.

But i had no time to fully wake
I couldn't run away
My body bleeding ripped apart
I screamed and felt such pain

I lay here with my horrific wounds
My four babies are dead inside
And as i took my last breathe in
With my babies i am to die.

THINK ONCE THINK TWICE
BEFORE YOU STRIM
PLEASE HELP US HOGS SURVIVE.
NOT ONLY DID YOU TAKE MY LIFE
IN TOTAL YOU TOOK US FIVE 🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔 😢😢

The heat is taking a toll on wildlife 🥵

A hedgehog rescue in Dorset, England, says it has seen a sharp increase in orphaned baby hedgehogs during the recent heatwave. The rescue says prolonged hot, dry conditions can leave mother hedgehogs struggling to find enough food and water, sometimes leading them to abandon their young.

Wildlife experts are encouraging people to leave out shallow bowls of fresh water and, where appropriate, dry cat food to help support hedgehogs during periods of extreme heat. They say reliable access to food and water may help mothers stay closer to their nests.

All good so far❤, lots of paddling in water bowls, wet food & tiny biscuits, over each & various (changed frequently 💩🙄) tea towels & flannels!

The F1 Paddock Family have moved to Hogwinkles Faversham to finish growing big & strong ready for release. Lauda 💙 was the smallest. Video in comments with pen for scale!
