After deep reflection and prayer, I am honored to announce my candidacy for reelection to the Cherokee County School Board, District 1.

Serving our students, families, teachers, and community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we’ve worked to strengthen our schools, support academic excellence, improve safety, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

I am dedicated to continuing this important work for the future of our community. I appreciate your support and look forward to your consideration.

Great celebration today with all of the CCSD family! “Together is better”! Congratulations to all of our school accomplishments, First Year Teachers of the Year, Support Staff of the Year, Teachers of the Year and Brandon Watkins as our District Teacher of the Year! Today was a great day! The best is yet to come!

Thanks so much to the voters in District 1! I truly appreciate your support!

I want to give a special thanks to my opponent, Scott Gragg, who was a kind and respectful gentleman, even being seen placing both of our signs back up when they happen to have blown down.

I promise to give a 110% of my effort, not just to the students and parents of District 1, but to ALL students, educators and parents of Cherokee County. I am so thankful to my sweet family and friends who supported and encouraged me through this process!

I have been overwhelmed by your calls, texts, posts and messages. I can’t thank you all enough for your kind words!

Now—it is time to get to work to see some positive changes for CCSD!!
