"Committee Meeting Update!

As Chairman of the Committee on Education, BM EMILIO KITONGAN conducted a productive meeting last July 18,2025 at the SP HALL to discuss the revision of Ordinance No. 2023-018, also known as the "Scholarship/Educational Assistance Program" for the Province of Kalinga.

Our goal is to refine the program to better serve our deserving college, senior high school, and technical/vocational students from low-income families. We aim to provide accessible and quality education, empowering the next generation of Kalinga leaders.

Key highlights from the meeting:

- Revisiting eligibility criteria to ensure inclusivity and fairness
- Enhancing program benefits to support students' academic success
- Strengthening partnerships with local institutions and stakeholders

BM Kitongan is grateful for the active participation and valuable inputs from the committee members and participants from the different offices of the Provincial Government . Together, we're working towards a brighter future for Kalinga's youth!

The people have spoken⁰. Now that the dust has settled, it's time for us to come together as one. Regardless of who won or lost, we must put aside our differences and work towards a common goal - the progress and prosperity of our nation.

The election may have divided us, but it's time to bridge those gaps. We need to recognize that everyone has a different perspective and opinion, and that's what makes our democracy strong. By embracing our diversity and respecting each other's views, we can build a more united and inclusive society.
