EXPENDITURE OBSERVER SHRI GAURAV AWASTHI IRS HOLDS MEETING WITH VARIOUS EXPENDITURE RELATED TEAMS BELONGING TO 3 ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCIES UNDER LUNGLEI DISTRICT.

LUNGLEI: the 14th October,2023: ShRI Gaurav Awasthi IRS, an Expenditure Observer appointed for 3 Assembly Constituencies Viz: 33-Lunglei South(ST)A/C, 34-Thorang(ST) A/C and 35- West Tuipui (ST) A/C under Lunglei District, held a meeting with Nodal Officers and Team Leaders of those committees which were constituted to deal with various Expenditure incurred by political Parties and Candidates in the upcoming General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly) Viz:

1) Superintendent of Police

2)Election Expenditure Monitoring Committee-Nodal Officer

2)Media Certification & Monitoring Committee—Nodal officer

3) Assistant Expenditure Observer

Team Leaders of :

1) Static Surveillance Team

2) Video Squad Team

3) Flying Squad Team

4) Video Viewing Team

5) Accounting Team

Speaking at the Occasion, Shri Gaurav Awasthi stated that meticulous monitoring and accounting of Expenditure incurred by Political Parties and Candidates during Election will hugely contribute in our quest for Free and Fair Election, and therefore he implored all the stakeholders to be thoroughly acquainted with handbook and manual provided by ECI. He also reminded them to be very sincere and scrupulous in their duties so that no fault or blunder took place, and firmly reiterated that no laxity will be tolerated in any way. He, however, added that “will be much happy to clear your doubts if you have any”, and informed them to feel free in approaching him. Shri Gaurav will hold another round of meeting tomorrow with all the members of various teams.
