VERUELA NAKAB-OT ANG PINAKATAAS NGA RATING SA GAWAD-KALASAG SEAL

Hingpit nga nakab-ot sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa lungsod sa Veruela Agusan ang pinakataas nga Rating sa Gawad-Kalasag Seal alang sa Calendar Year 2022 diin nakakuha ug "Beyond Compliant" (Excellence) nga rating base sa face-to-face desktop evaluation, online engagement, ug final deliberation nga gihimo sa Regional Validation Committee (RVC).

Nadawat matod pa nila ang award atol sa gipahigayong National Disaster Resilience Month Culmination sa OCD Command Center Butuan City ning milabayng adlaw.

Gawas niana ang nasangpit nga award nagsilbi ug maoy nagpaila sa mga nahimo sa lokal nga panggamhanan partikular na sa hisgutanang Disaster Risk Reduction and Management

Madumduman nga dili lamang ang lungsod sa Veruela ang nakaangkon sa maong award lakip na usab ang kasikbit nga mga lungsod sama sa Sta. Josefa ug lungsod sa Trento.

The municipal agriculture and fisheries council (MAFC) conducted a municipal monitoring activity.

As the advisory body to the department of agriculture(DA),one of the functions of the council is to serve as the consultative /feed back mechanism on the policies ,plans and programs of the department through monitoring and validation activities.

It aims to monitor the (DA) ongoing and completed projects including activities of the Department; to provide a comprehensive report monitored projects in the municipality and; to identify bottleneck and provide recomendations for the improvement in the implementation of programs /projects.

The monitoring activity was participated by MAFC monitoring representatives, Mr.Reynaldo R.Maido-MAFC Chairperson,Mr.Marcos O. Niñal- MAFC Chairperson-rice and corn and assisted by Lito S. Diane MAFC coordinator.
