The video showcases what casual social dancing was like around the peak of the Lindy Hop era. Particularly notable is the mixed-race crowd. Many dance halls were integrated at a time when much of society remained segregated, reflecting the cultural melting pot jazz and swing dancing grew out of.

The music is not original audio, but is a modern electro-swing composition that was added over the original footage.
