Canon City Noon Lions Club encountered entertaining and informative time travel with the Fremont County Historical Society's "Spirits of the Past." Portrayals of local historical personalities included; Dee Stubbs as highwire performer Bird Millman, Ed Norden as Governor James Hamilton Peabody for young Colorado, Gloria Stultz as early pioneer rancher/mother Johanna Stultz (nee Winderborn), and Linda Carlson as global explorer, writer and naturalist Isabella Lucy Bird.
