Sometimes being a good candidate means being a good person. That starts at home. I took a tiny break from campaigning today to hunt for blackberries with my granddaughter, check on our tomato plants and watch the storm come roaring in.

Love of community starts at home.

Today marks the beginning of Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

Today, and every day, we have the opportunity to bring Texas closer to love, inclusion, and justice. We gather together as a community for support and to show that we won’t ever back down.

We won’t compromise on basic human dignity, on the right to love who we choose, and the right to safely live life as we wish.

As we see administrations trying to make those rights disappear, we must fight harder to bring equality and freedom to every Texan.

Enjoy Pride month and shine, then let’s do the same every month of every year until it’s a basic human right. 🏳️‍🌈

Lulu Flores for showing up for our candidates. They came ready to work and they did not disappoint. Day 2 tomorrow. Let’s get it.

I am so honored to have the endorsement of State Representative Rep. Vikki Goodwin, our next Lieutenant Governor, in my run to represent you in House District 64.

Representative Goodwin stands for making quality public education in Texas a reality again, stemming the money flowing into private schools, better pay for our teachers, keeping our education dollars in Texas, and a clear separation of church and state. As a retired educator, this means so much to me.

Representative Goodwin believes in Texans being able to afford a home, in smarter water solutions, and in restoring the rights of women and their reproductive care.

These are ALL priorities I believe in as well. We will work together to make a better, more affordable, and safer Texas for us all.

It was invigorating listening to these candidates tonight! They have some great ideas on how to equalize the justice system and how to put Texas back on the right path!

We ended our three-event day with the best hole-in-the-wall in Denton, Komodo Loco, talking strategy!
