Last week, we had the privilege of accommodating the official opening ceremony for World Mosquito Day at Margaritas And Sunset Bar.

​The event marked the launch of the Solomon Islands National Roadmap for Malaria Elimination 2026–2040, developed under the leadership of:

​The Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

​The Ministry of Health and Medical Services

​The National Malaria Elimination Taskforce

​This vital strategy outlines the technical, strategic, and financial priorities required to eliminate malaria across the Solomon Islands over the next 15 years.

​We were especially honored by the presence of Prime Minister Hon. Mathew Wale (alongside leadership and international partners including APLMA), whose attendance underscored the nation’s whole-of-government commitment to a malaria-free future.
