Our team had the opportunity to provide a presentation to the Alafua Methodist Youth Group as a part of their regular Sunday programme

What we covered:
โœ…Online Cyber Hygiene
โœ…Cybersecurity vs Online Safety
โœ…Easy tips & tricks on responsible online behaviour
โœ…Who to contact when in need
โœ…Verify the news before sharing or posting online

We rounded it off with a Kahoot Quiz and gave away a few prizes for the top scorers! Furthermore, our older church members provided needed dialogue and testimonials to advise the youth in navigating themselves online and to improve the work our team does for our community.

โฐ "Your account will be locked in 24 hours!"

Sound familiar? That panic is the point.

๐ŸŽฃ Phishers fake urgency to make you act before you think. The more pressure they apply, the more suspicious you should be.

Next time you feel rushed by an email:
โœ‹ Stop
๐Ÿ” Verify through official channels
๐Ÿ“ž Call the company directly

Slow down ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Cyber Awareness Tip Friday

๐ŸŽฃ That link in your inbox could cost you a lot

Phishing attacks start with one careless click. Threat actors craft emails that look 100% legit - from your bank, your boss, or another Government agency.

Before you click any link:
โœ… Hover first, to preview the URL
โœ… Go directly to the website instead of clicking
โœ… If it feels off, it probably is!
