U.S. Virgin Islands Farmer Stress Support Program Application Now Open!! (Financial Assistance Available)
The Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture (VIDA) continues to
partner with the University of Tennessee to bring farm stress resources and programming to the U.S. Virgin Islands through SAgE-VI. SAgE-VI is designed to help farmers cope with and
reduce stress, thereby enhancing their well-being and productivity.
The SAgE-VI Farmer Stress Support Program will run from September 2024 to March 2025. Throughout the program, thirty (30) licensed farmers will be selected to participate in various activities designed to alleviate stress and enhance productivity. Our cohort will receive training, financial assistance, technology access, and peer learning opportunities, and are required to attend biweekly virtual cohort meetings, individual planning sessions, and trainings.
