Coffee Question of the Day...

If you could hand off one business task and never have to do it again, what would it be?

Running a business means wearing a lot of hats. Some days you're the owner, the customer service department, the marketing team, the salesperson, and the bookkeeper, all before lunch.

While there are parts of owning a business we genuinely enjoy, there always seems to be that one task we'd happily pass along to someone else.

Maybe it's:
• Answering emails
• Bookkeeping
• Invoicing
• Social media
• Scheduling
• Payroll
• Filing paperwork
• Something else entirely

There's no right or wrong answer, and I have a feeling a lot of us will have the same one!

Don’t Ignore the Small Expenses

When you’re running a business, it’s easy to focus on the big expenses like payroll, rent, inventory, or equipment. But sometimes it’s the small, recurring charges that quietly eat away at your profits.

That $9.99 subscription.

The app you signed up for months ago.

The software you only use once in a while.

On their own, they don’t seem like much. But over the course of a year, those small monthly charges can add up to hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

That doesn’t mean every subscription is a bad investment. Many of them help your business run more efficiently. The key is making sure you’re paying for tools that are actually providing value.

Every few months, take 15–20 minutes to review your recurring expenses. Ask yourself:

• Do I still use this?
• Is it helping my business?
• Is there a more affordable option?
• Can I cancel it altogether?

Being intentional with your spending isn’t about cutting corners, it’s about making sure every dollar you spend is working for your business.

Sometimes the biggest savings aren’t found in one large expense. They’re found in the little ones you’ve forgotten about.
