What an event! Thank you to all of our amazing supporters and volunteers. We celebrated freedom to gather and live free. Today we remember and honor the sacrifice it takes to keep freedom alive.

Ben knows that good things can happen when you open doors of communication and ask God for direction. In 2008, when Ben was a volunteer for the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency, the agency needed to clear space and decided to get rid of one of their MASH hospitals. This consisted of medical and surgical equipment such as imaging machines, operating tables and surgical tools. Ben reached out to a charity group he had contact with through his Christian TV broadcasting job and kicked off a medical mission trip to Haiti. They brought a team of doctors to help set up a clinic. That clinic remained in operation through the tragic earthquake and has treated many patients. We know that Ben has and is gaining more support with the voters in Franklin County and we know that causes some discomfort with some people who don't like change. We are not shaken. We will continue to fight for the betterment of Franklin County. We, along with the citizens of this county, want to see improvement of emergency communications systems, improvement of police communication and response, as well as partnerships with community outreach groups within the community. Ben Burkhamer as Sheriff is the change Franklin County needs.
