I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow mobile dental professional today, Dr Barrett in Placentia.
I loved getting a behind-the-scenes look at some of her incredible high-tech dental equipment. So impressive!
Our time together went by way too quickly, we really only scratched the surface. What excited me most wasn’t just the technology, but discovering that we share the same passion: bringing quality dental care to the eldery and underserved patients and to people who have difficulty accessing traditional dental care.
I’m looking forward to getting together again, sharing ideas, and talking about ways we can collaborate to help even more people.
There is so much we can accomplish when dental professionals with the same mission connect!

Dental hygiene samples are always fun to receive!

Thank you Tonochi for sending me these samples to try! I received their Max toothbrushes and SlimWeave Floss, designed for those tight spaces between teeth.

As a dental hygienist, I’m always interested in discovering new oral-care products that may help make daily home care easier and more effective for my patients. I’m looking forward to trying these out and seeing what I think!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit Silverado Memory Care in Brea and provide an in-service training for their wonderful staff on the importance of oral care for residents living with dementia.

Good oral health is about so much more than a clean smile. For individuals with dementia, consistent daily oral care can help prevent pain, infection, difficulty eating, and other health complications.

I loved sharing practical tips and techniques to help caregivers make oral care safer, easier, and more comfortable for their residents. A big thank you to the Silverado team for taking the time to learn and for their dedication to providing compassionate care.

I’m excited to continue working together to improve the oral health and quality of life of their residents!

I’m always interested in products that can help improve oral health—especially for patients who may need a little extra support.

I recently learned more about SuperMouth hydroxyapatite products and the science behind nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HA). Hydroxyapatite is a mineral naturally found in our teeth, and it’s used in oral care products to help support enamel and reduce sensitivity.

As an RDHAP, I love continuing to learn about new products and options that may benefit the patients I serve, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with special healthcare needs.

Prevention is always the goal!
