I have enjoyed meeting everyone across the county at all the parades and community events and hope to be your next Yakima County Coroner! I am running to serve Yakima County!

The results are in, and while we came up short this time, this is far from over. Your support means the world to me, and I’m more motivated than ever to keep moving forward.

We’ve got some work to do before the general election in November—but together, I know we can do it! I’m committed to continuing this campaign with integrity, determination, and heart.

Hi, my name is Dan Williams and I am running for Yakima County Coroner. On May 14, 2025, I was honored to gain the endorsement of the Yakima County Republican Party and would appreciate your vote in the August Primary, as well as the General Election in November.

To share a little about myself: I am a 45-year-old who was raised in a multicultural, bilingual household and a neighborhood, which shaped my deep connection to this community. A life-long resident of Yakima County graduating from Davis High School. I am married to my wife Irma and we have 4 wonderful and active boys. We live in Selah.

While working fulltime in Yakima, I commuted to Lake Washington College in Kirkland (September 2014 to May 2016) earning an associate degree in Mortuary Science. I am a licensed funeral director and hold 6 different insurance licenses. My qualifications include 15 years in the Funeral Home industry with the last eight years in management. I am currently employed as General Manager at Keith and Keith Funeral Home, Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, and Rainier Memorial Center, with a staff of 35 and manage a multimillion-dollar budget. I was elected by my peers to be president of the Central Valley District Chapter of Washington State Funeral Directors Association (2014 – 2021). My resume also includes nineteen years’ owning and operating my own insurance agency.

I have a heart and passion to make Yakima County a better place by volunteering and serving. A few examples include: a Republican Precinct Committee Officer (2018 to 2022), a baseball coach for Yakima Little League and Selah Parks and Recreation. Additionally, in 2015, I was elected to the Parker Youth and Sports Foundation Board and am currently the past president. This is a stellar organization working to give kids a hand-up in life.

I am a strong man of faith and a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, watching my boys play baseball, RV’ing, fishing and going to the beach.

Again, I humbly ask for your vote for Yakima County Coroner and I thank you in advance.
