Severe winter weather is expected across our area this weekend, including heavy snow, dangerously cold temperatures, and hazardous travel conditions. Please prepare NOW.

⚠️ OXYGEN-DEPENDENT RESIDENTS — VERY IMPORTANT:
If you or a loved one relies on oxygen:
✅ Make sure you have extra oxygen supplies available BEFORE the storm arrives.
✅ Keep oxygen equipment charged and ready (including backup batteries if applicable).
✅ Plan for the possibility of power outages and delays in emergency response due to snow/ice-covered roads.

🚑 Hominy EMS Notice:
During significant winter weather events, our EMS service may have limited oxygen supply availability, and response times may be delayed due to road conditions and snowfall accumulation.

Please check on:
• Elderly neighbors
• Oxygen-dependent residents

We are once again having phone issues. It has been reported.

Update, KanOkla came and checked our phone lines. We have discovered that it works part of the time but sometimes when you call in, we answer and it is like there isn't anyone on the other end. Sometimes we cannot call out. They do have a plan to make repairs but I do not have a timeline on that yet. If you try to call and are unable to get through you may message this page and I will get back to you when I log in and see it.

A few announcements from the Wynona Activities Committee

Watch for the flyers coming out in the following days for more information on all the activities.

🎄This year’s parade theme is Old Fashioned Christmas. Please join us Friday, December 12th at 6:30 or come participate. There will be $100, $75 and $50 prizes for the best floats. Line up will be at 6:00.

🎅🏼 Visits with Santa will still happen at Town Hall immediately following the parade. Mrs. Claus came and helped last year. We hope she can make it again this year. All the nice little boys and girls that visit Santa will receive a surprise while supplies last.

🤶🏻There were so many positive things said about the Wreath Competition that we have decided to make it part of the towns annual events. There will be 3 categories again, Peoples Choice, Theme (Old Fashioned Christmas) and Most Valuable.

❤️ As always, we are grateful for all the support the Assembly of God Church provides for our community. They have decided to host Santa’s Workshop again this year.

💚 KanOkla has a surprise for all of you which will be announced very soon.

Phones are out at Town Hall today. Kanokla has been made aware, however we have no estimate for restoration of service at this time.

I apologize for the inconvenience but you may have had low pressure this morning. The crew is finally available to start working on finishing the repairs to the water tower, so it had to be drained down. Should have only been a few minutes issue but I wanted to let everyone that has not messaged me know that you may have had or may have low pressure for a bit to get these repairs done.

We apologize for the inconvenience but another main line has been hit and we have to shut off the water to fix it. The guys will get this done and back on as soon as they can!

Update: leak is fixed

The water line that was hit yesterday has been taken care of, however another line has been hit this morning. We will need to shut off the water until this one is fixed. Please be patient as our guys worked until after dark yesterday (about 5.5 hours). We will get the water back on as soon as we possibly can.
