๐ซ A GENERATIONAL OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE EDUCATION EQUITY IN WORCESTER!
Every child deserves access to a high-quality public education, regardless of their neighborhood, family income, disability, language, or ZIP code.
Right now, Worcester has a rare opportunity to rethink how our public schools serve our children and families. We need our community's voices at the table.
Worcester Public Schools is considering significant changes through its School Boundary and Quadrant Alignment Project, with the potential to:
๐ Address overcrowding and imbalances in school capacity.
๐ซ Create more consistent pathways from elementary through high school.
๐ง Expand access to full-day preschool.
๐ Improve school transportation access for more families.
These decisions could shape educational opportunities in Worcester for generations to come. But equity doesn't happen automatically. It requires intentional decisions, meaningful community participation, and a commitment to putting students and families first.
No decisions have been made, and all proposed scenarios remain under consideration. Now is the time to make sure that families, educators, students, and community members, especially those historically underserved, have a meaningful voice in shaping the outcome.
๐ฃ MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!

And our commitment to public education cannot stop at Worcester's borders.
Across Massachusetts, advocates are calling on Governor Healey to reject participation in the new federal school voucher tax-credit program, which would subsidize private education through federal tax incentives while public schools continue to face serious funding challenges.
We believe public resources should strengthen the schools that welcome and serve every child, not encourage a system where educational opportunity depends on privilege or access.

This is our opportunity to build something better.
Let's advocate for a Worcester school system where opportunity isn't determined by your address, where families have the resources they need, and where every child has the chance to thrive.
Strong public schools. Equitable opportunities. A future that belongs to all of us.
