Thank you to the neighbors on Carrington and the rest of Park Ave today!

Mr. C on Carrington appreciated the literature and our time. So much so that he wanted a yard sign. Thank you Mr. C, it was great meeting you!

Mrs. L on Park Ave wasn't too happy that she wasn't notified her taxes were going up, just a new, updated bill. She also would like to know the process to convert her two family to a single. Everything I read starts with the zoning department. Any feedback here is welcomed.

Mrs. T on Park Ave, who is a very astute voter asked about background, my thoughts on the current council, and mayor. We shared a few laughs and the conversation was very fluid. Mr. Mike Michael Davis and I could have stayed for a few more laughs!

George would like a flashing light for people trying to cross at the corner of Park/Crawford. He let me know the bus stop is on the Park and Pine corner and kids have to cross in the morning!

Scooter Chronicles Volume 1 Episode 7 🛴
Great talking with my neighbors on Mendon Road, had engaging conversations about Pet Mills, Landmark Medical, Nursing homes, our homeless population.

It was also meeting Mr. J who follows me on Social media (authoritative page). He gave me some history of Woonsocket and where the Mendon Road land deal was.

It was nice meeting Mrs S. and she shared her thoughts on my Facebook posts. It's awesome to hear positive feedback, it helps me stay motivated. THANK YOU! ☺️

Thank you to my neighbors on Winter and some of Harris tonight for opening your doors to share your feedback for a better Woonsocket.

Mr.Bl... would like our council to try to keep our taxes where they are but also believes we could beef up our Police & Fire Departments. He's an advocate for speed cameras, but not flock cameras.

Mr.George would like our parks to be cleared out of homeless throughout the city and thought it was hypocritical that there's no smoking in the parks.

Miss I. and her daughter had a myriad of questions regarding the election and dates. She'd like better schools in our city and supports school choice. Thank you for the lawn sign miss I. 💪 (Celebratory Dance coming soon)

Woonsocket Business Spotlight — Tacos Don Nacho

Yesterday I stopped by Tacos Don Nacho with Mike Warner on Social Street and was greeted, as always, by Rodolfo and his friendly smile.

Rodolfo is a Mexican immigrant who lives in our neighboring community of Central Falls, but for the past 15 years, he's also been part of my Woonsocket story—serving me some incredible Mexican food and even teaching me a few words of Spanish along the way.

There's something special about this place. Two picnic tables outside, surrounded by flags from nations around the world, good conversation, and some seriously good food. I went with the quesadilla de carne (steak quesadilla) with salsa verde and salsa roja—and while we were there, even two employees from another burrito restaurant stopped in to eat. If that doesn't speak volumes about the food, I don't know what does!

Rodolfo's story is part of what makes our city special—an immigrant, an entrepreneur, and someone who has been serving our community for years.
