Every good thing must come to an end, and last night we officially wrapped our 2026 Concert Season. 🎶
Before we close the book on another summer, I need to take a minute to thank the absolute BEST team and Board there is.
First, a HUGE thank you to our VCF summer team — Kristen Staley , Monica Rae , Sarah Eskow , Silas Klein, Isiah L., Jody S., Michael Carter and Courtney W. Every Sunday, you showed up at 2 PM, through ALL the heat, ready to work and do whatever needed to be done. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. ❤️
Thank you to James Crisman and his amazing team at Trade Show Power. These guys are the true behind-the-scenes heavyweights. They are at the park setting everything up LONG before we arrive and are still there tearing it all down long after we've left. Jim runs our lights during the show and makes everything look amazing. You guys ROCK!
MSS Audio — Sally and Joe G. Hesse along with Larry, Justin and Katelyn — thank you for making our bands sound AMAZING every single week. 🎤🎶
Thank you to Julie and her team for doing the dirty work nobody wants to talk about 😂 and keeping our bathrooms spotless throughout every show. Trust me, with thousands of people in that park, that deserves its own round of applause! 👏
Fern White thank you for getting the word out and posting our events to more than 150,000 community members, making sure everyone knows to come on down and join us!
And Jay Ross , thank you for capturing our season through your camera. 📸 The crowd shots will ALWAYS be my favorite. Seeing thousands of smiling faces reminds me why we do what we do.
To our 2026 Board of Directors, THANK YOU. ❤️
This was probably one of our hardest years yet as we worked to find that financial balance while continuing to provide these events FREE to our community. But this Board showed up.
Yvette Vink and Joyce F., our Green Room Wranglers, thank you for taking care of everyone behind the scenes.
Helen McDunn Christensen and Jo Lamoreaux, thank you for being our vendor liaisons and helping host our dignitaries.
Henry H. Liang and Art Zwickel, thank you for showing up, jumping in and collecting for us whenever needed.
Marc W., thank you for popping in and always extending your knowledge and experience to us.
Hamed Khorsand , thank you for keeping me calm during the financial storm. 😂❤️ That alone deserves a medal!
And last, but certainly NOT least, our Board Chair and MC, Gina Eskow , Gina takes all the moving pieces during every show and somehow puts them together. She keeps things moving, keeps the stage going and is always there when I need her. ❤️
People see the concerts, the bands and the crowds — but what they don't always see is the army of people behind the scenes making it happen.
It truly takes a village to put on these concerts, and I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderful group of people.
Thank you for allowing me to do what I love to do, bring music to the community.
Thank you for another amazing summer. ❤️🎶
