THE NEW JERUSALEM — THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR FINAL HOME

Can you imagine a place where death no longer exists? No hospitals. No funerals. No sickness. No heartbreaking phone calls. No grief. No pain. No darkness. No separation from God.

This isn’t a fairy tale. This is the future God has revealed to His people.

John said:

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” — Revelation 21:2 KJV

The New Jerusalem is described with extraordinary beauty—walls of jasper, foundations adorned with precious stones, gates of pearl, and streets of pure gold. But the greatest thing about the New Jerusalem isn’t the gold.

It’s GOD.

“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them…” — Revelation 21:3 KJV

Think about that.

We won’t merely hear sermons about His presence.

We won’t have to wonder what it would be like to see Him.

“And they shall see his face…” — Revelation 22:4 KJV

The God we’ve prayed to without seeing…

The Savior we’ve worshiped by faith…

We will see His face.

There will be no temple because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple (Revelation 21:22).

The city won’t need the sun or moon to illuminate it because the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its light (Revelation 21:23).

A pure river of the water of life proceeds from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Revelation 22:1).

The Tree of Life appears again (Revelation 22:2).

And Scripture says:

“And there shall be no more curse…” — Revelation 22:3 KJV

Do you see the story?

Genesis: humanity loses access to the Tree of Life.

Revelation: the redeemed have access again.

Genesis: the curse enters.

Revelation: there is no more curse.

Genesis: humanity hides from God’s presence.

Revelation: “They shall see His face.”

God isn’t simply taking us back to Eden.

He is bringing His redemptive plan to its glorious completion in a new heaven, a new earth, and the New Jerusalem.

And there we will not spend eternity doing nothing.

“And his servants shall serve him.” — Revelation 22:3

“And they shall reign for ever and ever.” — Revelation 22:5

THIS IS WHY WE MUST KEEP PREACHING JESUS.

This is why salvation matters.

This is why repentance matters.

This is why we pray for our children and grandchildren.

This is why we tell people about Jesus.

There is an eternity beyond this temporary life.

And Jesus said:

“Behold, I come quickly…” — Revelation 22:12

PRAYER

Father, thank You for the promise of what You have prepared for Your redeemed people. Keep our hearts from becoming so attached to this temporary world that we forget eternity. Help us live holy, faithful, obedient lives that glorify Jesus.

Save our households. Draw our children and grandchildren to Christ. Give us boldness to preach the Gospel while there is still time. May our lives point others toward Jesus so that they too may know the joy of dwelling in Your presence forever.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

OUR CRY

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” — Revelation 22:20 KJV

One day faith will become sight.
One day the curse will be gone.
One day death will be no more.
And one day—we shall see His face.

🌿✨ **Souls4Real Fellowship Prayer Board – September 2026** ✨🌿

Family, as we enter September, let us draw closer to God and allow Him to examine our hearts. The Lord has been reminding us not to become comfortable in environments, relationships, habits, or thought patterns that pull us away from Him.

Sometimes we are so close to the “room” that we cannot see how it is affecting us. God is calling us to step back, repent, renew our minds, pursue holiness, and surrender ourselves completely to Him.

📖 **“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts.” — James 4:8 (NLT)**

This month, let us cover these areas in prayer:

1️⃣ **Repentance and Cleansing** – That we will recognize and turn away from every sin, compromise, and distraction separating us from God.

2️⃣ **Renewing Our Minds** – That unhealthy thought patterns will be broken and our minds will be transformed through God’s Word.

3️⃣ **Separation and Holiness** – That we will leave environments and relationships that encourage sin and choose what is pleasing to God.

4️⃣ **Complete Surrender** – That we will give every area of our lives to Jesus and obey Him without holding anything back.

5️⃣ **Souls and Salvation** – That the lost will hear the gospel, turn to Jesus, and begin a genuine, transformed life in Christ.

6️⃣ **Families, Youth, and Marriages** – That God will restore love, establish unity, protect our children, and bring every household into divine order.

7️⃣ **Healing and Deliverance** – That bodies will be healed, minds will be restored, addictions will be broken, and people will be set free.

🕊️ **Prayer Declaration for September:**

“Father, search our hearts and reveal anything that is separating us from You. We repent of every sin, compromise, and act of disobedience. Give us the courage to leave every environment that keeps us bound. Renew our minds through Your Word and create new, godly patterns within us. Purify our motives, order our steps, and teach us to live holy lives. We completely surrender our hearts, minds, bodies, plans, relationships, and futures to Jesus Christ. Let September be a month of repentance, realignment, healing, deliverance, and total transformation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
