The final two days of the Summer Youth Leadership Institute were all about preparing for success!🤩
- On Thursday's "Dress to Impress" day, participants learned how to present themselves professionally, make a positive first impression, and master the dos and don'ts of a successful interview. Guest speakers shared valuable insights on being career-ready and what it takes to prepare for their chosen professions. Participants also put their skills into practice through mock interviews, giving them the opportunity to build confidence, sharpen their communication skills, and gain real-world interview experience.
- Friday wrapped up the week with a closer look at the role of Worksite Monitors and how they support both interns and host worksites throughout the summer. Participants also had the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test, demonstrating everything they learned during the week.
We're proud of the dedication, growth, and enthusiasm shown by this year's participants and can't wait to see them put their new skills into action this summer!
